The project was created to test the feasibility of establishing a working legacy proposal for the Olympics to be hosted in the city of Ahmedabad, Gujrat in India.

Assemblage

The proposed design intervention, “Assemblage” has grown out of the collaborative site analysis and the ecovention that developed through the study.

Mass-Housing

Based in Navi Mumbai, the proposed design consists of conceptually placed high-income, middle-income, and low-income housing typologies, designed in intricate polygonal shapes.

Intervention

The site was reserved to develop a large multi-disciplinary research center and an institute to support its studies. Along with it, the remaining site was reserved for National public library.

Palliating Spaces

The hospital is designed as a network of small-scale units. It is a core feature to avoid a large, iconic structure that covers a majority of the land. Rather, we wanted to create a village-like typology.

Unwind

The design was made such that it could be used by the locals to regenerate relax recharge for the daily basking activities located at the banks of the holy diver Krishna this is an appropriate spot.

Rebirth

The aim was to design a facility for trade and commerce, lodging–boarding facilities for pilgrims and general tourists along with adaptive reuse of the existing building on site.

Rural Hospital

The structure is a G+4 multi-specialty hospital. The ground floor consists of a community hall which will be rented out to care for the hospital's pro bono cases.
